Given the choice between a vacation relaxing in the tropics or hiking in Zion National Park, I'd pick Zion in a heartbeat. Having arrived in Springdale Utah during the night, I was amazed when I looked out the window of my hotel room to the magnificent view of "The Watchman" in spectacular morning light. It remains one of the most breath taking scenes I have experienced. I was totally unprepared for what I would see when I opened that drape.
